Obviously, Louisville will be dropping out of the top 10. I'm not a fan of Memphis being so high...even with Tyreke Evans coming on as of late.

There will be a lot of changes in next week's rankings than that one.

Carolina and Pitt should jump to the Top 2.

    Oklahoma should be 3

I think UConn will drop back to 6 or 7 and Duke will go up to 5.

    Syracuse dropped from the rankings....

I agree with most of it, but I think Memphis is incredibly overrated.

Well, my Mountaineers didn't make the top 25 today. Sad I thought they may have a chance since they won all 3 games since last weeks poll. One of those wins was beating #10 Villanova. The other 2 were Notre Dame and @ Rutgers. WVU's record is 19-8 overall and 8-6 in the Big East. We did pick up 96 votes in the AP polls. We were nudged out by #25 Texas 18-8. Oh well, maybe next week. It's still nice to see that the #1 and #2 spots are filled by Big East Pittsburgh and UConn. And, the Big East holds down 5 spots in the top10. GREAT!!!
    LETS GO BIG EAST!!!!!!!!!
    LETS GO MOUNTAINEERS!!!!!!!!!

Huggs team you guys are still projected a #5 or #6 seed so I wouldn't worry too much about the top 25.

and yeah Orange I agree Memphis is over-rated compared to what they have done. But I thought it was a little telling because in that mock bracket I put up from the selection committee they were the last #2 seed and that was with them winning out, so at least the committee isn't going crazy over them too.

No I don't believe so. Uconn and OU were the last One loss teams left. Also Utah State but they have lost 2 recently

I agree with the fact that WV should be a top 25 team... As a Nova fan I have respect with the way they handed us our behinds last week. Glad we bounced back with a big win over the Orange. Top Ten for NOVA!

cordelltaylor & General M&M, Thanks for your support, but I'll get over the Top 25 snubbing this week. LOL. I have grown accustomed to the AP & ESPN poll snubbing as a WVU basketball fan. It seems WVU always has to over achieve before we get any respect from those guys. Example: the 2006-2007 season we were (in my oppinion) snubbed from the NCAA tournament and then went on and won the NIT championship. But this year we have been beaten 8 times. 2 times by Pitt.. 1 by UConn., 1 by Louisville, 1 by Marquette, 1 Syracuse, 1 by Kentucky and 1 by Davidson. Those 7 teams have a combined record of 154 wins and 35 losses.
