ACC Conference Empty Sad Day in sports

It is awful when the former NCAA champion, Maryland Terripans, can not even recruit their hometown. Gary Williams must be fired.

The Hokies still have a shot at winning the ACC. Watch out for a run here at the end of the year to strive for the ACC Title.

Va Tech still has work to do, but they are getting hot at the right time and could do well in the tourney.

Yeah.. What has been up with Maryland? Missing out on Durant and Beasley I know for sure, but who else?. Michael Beasley is an idiot in my opinion. His three choices were: Charlotte 49ers, Kansas State and Pittsburgh. This is a guy that almost won the Naismith for crying out loud. If I was Maryland I would have put everything into signing this guy after seeing what schools he was considering, but they were not even one of his choices.

Beasley originally signed on to Charlotte I believe, but then decided to back out. He probably knew he was only going to be there one year so he wanted to make sure he was the feature guy wherever he went.

    How about NCSU?

Its pretty hard for them to recruit when they have a #9, a #3, + Wake and Davidson in there own state. Especially Duke and UNC.

I think if they actually put a lot into one guy in the area (I know there are may North Carolina top recruits in the state) they can get some power, speed, or anything they need.

It will be hard NCSU to get anywhere this seasonn, or next. All state recruits go to the other big four schools lesving them with who is left over.

It is really hard to figure out who the top team in this conference is when all of the bottom teams keep beating the top teams.
