Pac-10 Conference Thread Empty Pac-10 Conference Thread

Very tight, surprisingly competetive conference this year. Any Pac-10 followers here? Probably gets the least press out of any major conference since it's on FSN/CSN instead of ESPN.....

I'm a Stanford fan, and thanks to 3 1-point losses on the road we're 4-7 in conference play and not getting considered for the tournament despite an undefeated non-conference season (didn't face any top teams though, best win was a 46 point raping of Texas Tech). Hopefully we can get on a roll and at least finish .500 in the Pac-10.

PAC10 has been a little disappointing this season. UCLA was expected to be one of the top five teams in the country and my opinion are a boarderline top 10 team at this point. USC has also disappointed as they are currently not ranked in either poll. Arizona State has one of the best players in the country in James Harden, and look like the class of the conference to me.

The Pac-10 has been disappointing the last couple of seasons in my opinion. Of course UCLA will always have a good team, but other than them the conference has been kind of sketchy in producing consistent contenders year in and out. I mean just look at the standings from previous years its always UCLA at the top with a handful of different schools under them each year.

Do YOU think USC will get anotherO.J. Mayo.

We all know they dont need any more work in football. But they need to rebuild (in my case) on basketball.

Didnt they recruit Brandon Jennings the number one recruit last year, or was it Arizona? Well anyways one of those schools recruited him and he went to Europe for a year instead.

It was Arizona.....Olson left so he figured he would try Europe, and he barely plays.

Jennings admitted that leaving for Europe was the wrong choice. It ruined his NBA draft stock and it left him in a horrible playing situation in Europe. Arizona would have been really good this year with Jennings they have another talent.
