Big East matchup with plenty of bubble team implications for both the Orange and the Hoyas. Both teams have been struggling lately, and Georgetown won the last time around. Be ready for an Orange Out at the Carrier Dome today @ noon on ESPN.

Man, Cuse nearly blew this one...although Georgetown executed about as well as they possibly could at the end of regulation. Shows this team's resilience though to withstand that comeback and come out on top in OT. Georgetown looks like they're gonna need a deep conference tourney run to get into the big dance.

I think Georgetown can kiss their tournament hopes goodbye unless they plan on winning the rest of their games and advancing a few rounds into the Big East tourney.
A win is a win for Syracuse. Jonny Flynn was clutch.

Yep, the Hoyas are finished. Looks like playing in the Big East turned out to hurt them more than help.

Georgetown fell apart. No idea what happened to them, they looked like they were going to be one of the best teams in the conference early on in conference play and then they just lost it. Some teams just get hot at the right time and some teams get cold at the wrong time.

A shocker against UConn is really all they ever had to hang their hat on. Remember they lost just about every non conference game that meant a damn outside of Memphis, who is a sham top ten team.
