Griffin Out Against Kansas

Oklahoma center Blake Griffin will miss Monday night's game against Kansas as he recovers from a concussion.

Sooners coach Jeff Capel said Griffin, the Big 12 leader in scoring with 22 points who tops the nation in rebounding with a 13.8 average, visited with doctors Monday afternoon, when it was determined he would not play.

Griffin sustained the concussion in a loss to the Texas Longhorns on Saturday night.

It is smart to keep him out. OU doesn't NEED this game. They can still get a #1 seed, because the committee will throw this game out if Griffin doesn't play.
